I've booked gwenmars out here several times in the past 3 years. Two of the most memorable shows were at the now defunt club, Fat Daddy's (in fact, one of those shows was the final night of Fat Daddy's existence. After the show, we all hung out in the club, drank whatever we could get our hands on, and had a mean water fight. Finally, at the break of dawn, we all walked out and watched Chris lock the doors for the final time. What a sureal experience). Chris Funk, Fat Daddy's former owner recorded those 2 shows directly off the soundboard...and finally, 2 years later I own them. It took you long enough Chris. And they sound great.
So, it's been 8 days since I've had even a sip of alcohol. And it feels pretty good. As odd as it is to say, I don't think I'll ever have another drink again.
