Good stuff. The John and Spencer Booze Explosion is hilarious. It's Spencer from Murder City Devils doing drunken renditions of songs by Lou Reed, Lee Hazelwood, Ben Folds, and others. The Polyphonic Spree EP is great. The UK single version of "Soldier Girl" is fucking amazing.
You should know about everything else.
I saw 28 Days Later on Thursday, and it was fucking brilliant. Scary as all hell, stylish as fuck, and a beautiful soundtrack (nice placement of the Godspeed You Black Emperor and Grandaddy songs). As an added bonus, we saw trailers for Jeepers Creepers 2 (I loved the first movie), and...AND... Freddy Vs. Jason. Holy shit, I am sooo fucking excited for this movie. I'm pissed I have to wait until mid-August to see it. I remember how giddy and excited I'd get when I was younger whenever a new Friday The 13th of Nightmare On Elm Street film would come out. I got all excited again when I saw the trailer.
